Our Story

Moreton Dental has a rich history of delivering outstanding dental care, originally established over 80 years ago. Over the decades, the practice has been shaped by highly skilled clinicians who focused on personalised care in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

In the mid to late twentieth century, practitioners including Mr Peter Ellis, Mr John Booth, Mr José Balaguer-Morris and Mr Brian Shearer, helped develop Moreton Dental into one of Oxford’s foremost practices.

In 2002, Robert and Catherine Simmons took over the practice, continuing its strong patient-centred ethos and commitment to quality care.

Building on more than 80 years of heritage, Vinit and Kajal Gohil have brought renewed energy to the practice, further expanding our expertise while preserving its long-standing values. They place a strong emphasis on delivering the highest quality patient care, adopting an evidence-based, multidisciplinary approach that draws on the strengths of the entire team. This dedication to excellence is complemented by ongoing investment in digital technology, ensuring that our care remains at the forefront of contemporary dentistry while staying true to the principles that have defined the practice for generations.

Today, our team remains true to the founding principles of the practice — providing excellent, modern, patient centred care  in a friendly, relaxed setting.
